Konsa helps people in Pakistan compare products and prices before they buy. We try to collect as little personal information as possible. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. Information you give us
- "Best price maango" / dealer requests: your name, phone/WhatsApp number, city, the product you are interested in and any message. We share this with up to 3 matching dealers so they can contact you with a price.
- Price alerts: your email address and target price, so we can email you when a price drops. Every alert email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Reviews and polls: your rating and answers, and optionally a name, city and short comment. Reviews are checked before they appear publicly.
- Questions to "Konsa loon?": the text (or voice/photo) you submit, so we can answer it and improve our answers.
- Admin / staff accounts: name, username, email and a securely hashed password. If a staff member signs in with Google, we receive only their name, email address and a Google account ID — we do not get their Google password, contacts, Gmail or Drive.
2. Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security (for example blocking repeated wrong logins) and simple usage counts.
- Small cookies/local storage for things like your language choice (Roman Urdu / اردو), a poll vote or a review you already gave, and — for staff only — a login session. We do not use advertising cookies at the moment.
3. How we use it
To answer your questions, connect you with dealers you asked to hear from, send the price alerts you requested, show honest reviews, keep the site secure, and improve Konsa. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who we share it with
- Dealers — only the request details you submitted, only when you ask for a price.
- Service providers that run the site for us: our hosting provider (Hostinger), AI providers used to write answers (such as Google Gemini and Groq — we send them your question text, not your contact details), web search providers used to check prices, and Google for staff sign-in.
- Authorities, if required by Pakistani law.
5. How long we keep it
Dealer requests and questions are kept for up to 24 months for records and quality, then deleted or anonymised. Price alerts are kept until you unsubscribe. Staff accounts are kept while the person has access. Security logs of failed logins are deleted within 24 hours.
6. Your choices
You can unsubscribe from price alerts at any time from the email. To see, correct or delete information you gave us, email info@arqodigital.com from the same email or tell us the phone number you used, and we will act within 30 days.
7. Security
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, one-time email PINs for password resets and limits on login attempts. No website is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
8. Children
Konsa is meant for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
